Class Registration

Classes at UTT are small in order to offer quality training and personal attention of the instructor. It is advisable to register for a class as early as possible to ensure there will be available places. Class fee is due at the time of registering. You can register for a class in any the following ways:

    • Over the phone (a major credit card needed)
    • Over the Internet (a major credit card needed)
    • Via mail (check, or major credit card needed)
    • Walk-in (you can pay cash, with check or with a major credit card)
      • Walk-in (you can pay cash, with check or with a major credit card)
      • At the day of the class in case there are still empty places or last-minute cancellations

Some courses have prerequisites - you either have to have sufficient knowledge to understand discussed topics, or you need to take introductory courses to acquire that knowledge. In order to see if you qualify to register for courses with prerequisites, you need to take a brief online test. Those tests are accessible from the courses' description pages (click the name of the course you are interested in on the Class Schedule page).

At the beginning of the first class session, you will receive manuals and other supplemental materials. Those are included in the course price and belong to you. We advise you to take them to your work place and use them to help you apply learned skills.

After you complete a course successfully, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement. Some basic courses do not award certificates. Most courses do not require any testing for the certificate - it is sufficient to be present in class and pay attention to discussed material. Some courses will have a short exam at the end to ensure that you qualify for the certificate. For more information see the individual course description form the Class Schedule page.

In order to register for a class, you need to:

1) Choose a date (dates) you would like to take it on.

2) Check to see if the class has prerequisites and if you satisfy them or if you can take the online test.

3) Register for a class and pay class fee:

    • Over the phone at 616-458-5568
    • Over the Internet - add the class to your shopping cart and go to the check out
    • Via mail - print out and fill the form off the web and then mail it to us at the address below
    • Walk-in - visit our office, located at 200 Colrain SW, Wyoming, MI 49548
