In this course you will be introduced to the core ideas for creating and manipulating custom web pages that include your own style of text, embedded pictures and special effects. We will teach you how to use the power and flexibility of Microsoft FrontPage to create entire web sites - from personal interests ones to enterprise-wide business web sites. FrontPage is a very easy to use what-you-see-is-what-you-get editor, meaning that you create your web pages in environment similar to Word, but particularly tailored to web pages. We will teach you how to make all your pages consistent by adding a predefined theme of colors, background images, headings, buttons, and links. We will show you how you can even customize a theme to be just the way you want it. You will also learn how to use shared borders to add sections that are the same on all pages. We will teach you how to use different views to manage and organize all the pages in your web site and particularly how to easily set all links between different pages to make your site intuitive and easy to navigate. We will also show you how to use some of the more advanced features of FrontPage - custom animation, table of contents and more. After this class you will be able to easily create whole web sites that are very appealing, consistent, and intuitive to navigate. You will learn to utilize FrontPage wizards and automated features to do most of the work for you and how to customize various themes and templates to get an original look and feel to your web sites.
